Its good for some light running or a stroll. I think its just not big enoguh for cycling. It would be great if they could pave the road all the way to the splash pad.

The kids had a little fun. There's a trail here for walking only.

The Visitors Center is fantastic. They have several critters-in-residence: turtles, snakes, mice, etc. Don't miss Sandy, the Bearded Dragon or Twist, the terrific bunny greater. Very nice educational exhibits. The indoor viewing area of their bird garden is nice and cozy.

Sled mountain, barbecue pits, volleyball, picnic tables, tractor ride, great scenery for wedding photos. Nice location. Parking could use some upgrade. Current parking has pot holes and no lines, guest end up parking inefficiently and eventually runs out of spots.

Lovely park, lots of trails to try, mostly short, flat with slight inclines and woodsy. Deer sightings are common. Some pretty, historic buildings and a small nature center that's good for kids. Some trails are paved for wheelchairs. Free parking. An archery. A small sledding hill. Bathrooms on site.

Nice scenic park with a splash pad for the kids and ample picnic areas with playscape.

The main shelter is first come first serve so you can not really think of doing a planned event there. There are two more shelters that can be booked but they are really small and secluded. The south shelter does not have any bathrooms or children play area nearby.

Tons of rules and regulations so read the signs. No bike riding. No dogs. I couldn't believe dogs were not welcome in this park.

The trails are always nice. Lots of good bird watching.
